Talgo Classroom
Educational Workshops “Design and Draw Your TALGO Train”
The TALGO Foundation and the Railway Museum have launched the “Design and Draw Your TALGO Train” workshops, which take place in the “TALGO Classroom” that the Foundation has at the Museum.
Their main objective is to promote knowledge of the railway, as well as the importance of Spanish High-Speed Rail among primary school students.
Key Objectives:
- Creation using recyclable materials (Early Childhood and Secondary Education).
- Encouraging students’ emotional development and skills.
- Promoting the use of the railway as a mode of transport more committed to the environment.

Visits to the Talgo factory
The aim of these visits is to contribute to an initiative that its founder has been promoting for a long time: bringing Talgo and its technology closer to the public by encouraging and disseminating technological innovation, R&D&I, and the train as the mode of transport most committed to accessibility and the environment.
During the visits, attendees are actively involved and given insight into the details of the train manufacturing process, as well as the development of the latest advances in Talgo’s proprietary technology, such as gauge-changing systems, independently guided wheels, and energy recovery.
Special emphasis is also placed on the new technologies incorporated into Talgo trains, which allow the vehicle to adapt to the needs and specific characteristics of each project and to the environmental conditions of very different locations.
The visits are aimed at the academic community, researchers, as well as any organisations or institutions interested in learning more about the technology that makes Talgo so special.
